Lyons Falls

One day we decided we were going to go hiking down by the covered bridge by the river; however we encountered one small problem, we decided we were going to use a stroller.  My grandson Junior was a heap of love in his stroller going over rocks and roots that were rising above the surface.

Even though this proved to be difficult the hike was amazing and fun full of what God has given us. We decided to ditch the stroller in the woods and papal took over and we were off. It was a family affair full of laughing, some moaning, and of course great exercise and the chance to breath some fresh pure air. It was sunning and nature was full of color and we took in every ounce that mother nature offered. The trees were green and the river was flowing gently every corner offered plenty of color.

We finally made it to the falls which by no means was flowing, it was more like a trickle.  But the beauty that surrounded it made the trip worth while.  We looked around and found all kinds of amazing things from fossils to Indian markings it was truly a worth while trip that I would do all over again and probably will.

After we were done exploring the falls and scenery around it we hit the trail again and headed back.  We have decided that after we retrieved the stroller we were going to cross the river over to the smoother trail on the other side our 3 month old boxer pup Destiny was so fun she loves to be in the wild.

Once we got across it was smooth sailing even with the stroller...so we strolled along took some pics and enjoyed our day in nature...and that was a trip to Lyons falls

Life goes by so fast take time out to stroll along, smell the roses witness what God has given us to enjoy and most important spend time with family cause they are the only family you have.  Say I love you daily and never take life for granted
